64th Kuwait National Day
A day full of celebrations from a variety of entertainment to the gathering of family and friends. We at Global Study UK would like to recognise and celebrate this wonderful anniversary with every Kuwaiti.
The national day commemorates the day that Sheikh Abdullah Al-Salim Al-Sabah became the ruler of Kuwait 1950.
With the first national day celebrated in 1963, every year since it has been the first major holiday in a Kuwaiti’s calendar. As a public holiday the people of Kuwait decorate their homes with flags, colourful lights and some even light candles during their celebratory dinner. Historical areas are also decorated such as the Kuwait National Museum, Mirror House, Kuwait Towers and many other historic landmarks.
We at Global Study UK would like to celebrate this wonderful Kuwait National Day with everyone and we look forward to continuing to help Kuwaiti students achieve their dreams of studying in the UK.
