In 2015, Oxford International and Bangor University established Bangor University International College (BUIC). Run by Oxford International, BUIC is an Embedded College on the Bangor University campus where international students learn the English language, study skills, and academic knowledge they need before continuing their studies at Bangor University.
Bangor is located within the North West of Wales and is a place to be encapsulated within it’s breathtaking scenery. Being regarded as one of the most beautiful places in the world, its history originates as far back towards the 6th Century with the Deiniol Monastery still standing tall.
