University of Chester

Founded in 1839, the University of Chester is one of the oldest higher education institutions in the country. The university offers an extensive range of single and combined honours courses to over 20,000 students across a number of specialist sites. The university was praised by the Teaching Excellence Framework for its wide range of activities supporting the development of employability skills by students, with around two thirds taking part in the university’s innovative Work-Based Learning module.
