The University of East Anglia is located in Norwich, and is home to over 14,000 students. The university has some of the most abundant accommodation in the country, and international students are usually guaranteed a room. and all residencies are within walking distance of the campus and city. Students can make use of specialist facilities, including state of the art sports centres, language labs and research laboratories.
UEA ranks 10th in the UK for the quality of its research output. More than 82% of research at the university is classified as either ‘world-leading’ or ‘internationally excellent’. The university is particularly well known for its cutting-edge environmental research.
The University of East Anglia are ranked 22nd in the UK University League Table. They specialise in research quality and offering students over 200 clubs and societies to join. East Anglia have been consistently in the top 25 over the last 5 years. In addition, they have four subjects ranked in the top 10. These include American Studies, Speech & Language Therapy, Chemistry and Creative Writing. Furthermore, the university offer students a wide range of undergraduate courses to choose from, 270 in total.
